Welcome to my Xbox page, I have had an Xbox now for about 2 years, and haven't regretted it, like many gamers out there I had a choice between the Playstation 2, Game Cube or Xbox.

But when my friend showed me HALO on the Xbox I was immediately hooked and zoomed straight over to my local GAME shop to buy one.

Although I have been a Playstation and Nintendo owner throughout the majority of gaming life (since I was about 10 years old !), the graphics of the Xbox and the various other features like custom soundtracks won me over.

For those of you who don't know, the Xbox specs are as follows:

CPU Intel Pentium III

Clock speed 733 MHz

RAM 64 Mb

Audio 64-bit

Hard drive 8 GB

DVD drive 2x-5x

Resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels

I own the following the following games for my Xbox:

> Steel Battalion (A rare find !)

> The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind

> Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack

> Gun Metal

> Soul Calibur 2

> Burnout 2

> HALO

> Star Wars: Jedi Academy

> Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II

> Ninja Gaiden

As you can see they are from quite varied genres, out of all of them my favourites are; HALO, Steel Battalion and Gun Metal, each one of the games is summarised below:

A great insight into the world of Star Wars, carrying on directly after Return of the Jedi, this game places in the teachings of Luke Skywalker. You get to utilise all of the force powers in the films and whole lot more, plus you get to play with light sabers and various other weapons from the Star Wars films, This game becomes much more fun when you play it online against other people.

A true masterpiece, this game has one of the best learning curves in any that I have ever played, its quite hard to get into at first but once you start you'll want to keep trying at that boss that keeps on killing you. The combat system is flawless and is the best I have seen in any game on the shelves, Ryu the ninja moves round the screen in perfect harmony with the Xbox control pad. Definitely one of the Xbox elite games

A great RPG game, it looks a bit dated now, but once you get used to all the Japanese style names for items and the weird combat system, it becomes very enjoyable. Although at the moment I have only played a short distance through the single player game, it looks set to be very promising. If the same can be said about playing it on Xbox Live, then it is definitely worth a permanent place in my games collection.

I search high and low for this game, you had to pre-order it originally, but I managed to find one second hand. It takes a lot of getting used to with the 40 button control pad, and is a definitive Xbox purchase if you have the money. A great hyper-realistic simulation game, where you pilot a giant walking tank, you must play this game !

An immense RPG, I have played this for about 20 hours and haven't reached 5% of the total game yet, there is so much to do, and everything you has a direct consequence to the world. Armour, weapons and shields can all be magically upgraded with soul's, spells can also be upgraded and you character is completely customisable. If you want to enjoy this game you'll have to put some serious hours in first.

Probably two of the best games ever, second to HALO, it took a while but these crime sim's eventually made it to Xbox, the graphics are significantly improved from the PS2 version, but the game is virtually the same with the addition of custom soundtracks. All in all if you have an Xbox you need this game, you get both games for the price of one.

Probably the closest you will get on the Xbox to game attempting to emulate a transforming robot similar to transformers. The graphics are stunning, especially when your moving in robot form and jump into the air to transform into a plane. Plenty of cool high powered weapons to destroy the gigantic space ships and assault cruisers. If you like a mixture of action, flying and robot games buy this.

Aside from Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat on the SNES, this is the best fighting game I have ever played !, I am a big fan of Spawn also, so this added to my enjoyment of the game. Each character has about 12 weapons to collect throughout the game, each one with different attributes. This game should be part of anyone's Xbox selection.

Xbox owners had to wait a little while for this game to, but I can safely say that it was worth it, didn't like the racing part of it much, but the Crash for Cash part of it is ace. Great fun driving into heavy traffic and watching the carnage, and then calculating the insurance damage. Pick up a copy of this game if you can.

This quite simply is the best game ever made, as mentioned earlier it was my sole reason for buying an Xbox, and the hype is well deserved. Being able to drive vehicles, ground and air, kill aliens and pick up their weapons, and get involved in an epic storyline whilst playing co-op with a friend makes this game great. I have lost count about the amount of times I have replayed this game and gone through start to finish. Multiplayer is great also especially 8 people in Blood Gulch. If you have an Xbox you must have this game.
